Meet Mark Metz, a 100 Gardens Board of Directors member. Mark focuses on securing funding through the network of relationships he has built around Charlotte. Mark also supports 100 Gardens by using his background as an attorney to write, check, and edit legal documents for the business.
Mark received his B.S. from Cornell University and J.D. from the University of Buffalo where he played Men’s Varsity Basketball. Mark spent most of his career as a banking attorney and recently retired from Wells Fargo where he was a Deputy General Counsel. His primary focus was consumer banking and consumer regulatory issues. He continues to focus on connecting young attorneys with non-profit groups to give back to the community. Mark has served on the North Carolina Zoological Society Board in the past as well as the United Way of Greater Charlotte Advisory Board.
Mark has been vital in securing funding, broadening 100 Gardens reach, and advising in business and legal matters. Mark lives in Charlotte with his wife, Emily, two dogs, and a rabbit.
