Meet Kelli Howe, the Director of Education at 100 Gardens. She has spent over 30 years empowering students as a teacher, building level administrator and principal. Kelli takes the lead on all things education, from preparing educational content to helping the organization navigate the state educational system. Kelli is committed to serving all students and has a keen interest in providing educational opportunities to those who require individualized education plans. Kelli has worked on both sides of the partnerships that 100 Gardens provides to local schools. As Webb Street School principal, she secured grant funding for one of the earliest educational aquaponic systems installed by 100 Gardens.
Along with her work at 100 Gardens, Kelli serves on the North Carolina State Commission for Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Disorder, as well as the board of Arin’s Good Girl Dog Treats, a local small business that employs differently abled persons. Kelli enjoys live music, traveling to new places and spending time exploring the mountains of North Carolina with her family.
