Beau Norwood is a North Carolina musician, entrepreneur, actor, coach, and community advocate with a passion for creativity, education, and building stronger communities.
Beau spent 15 years at North Gaston High School with Gaston County Schools, coaching football, wrestling, and baseball. His experience working with student-athletes shaped his belief in the power of mentorship, teamwork, discipline, and hands-on learning.
As an entrepreneur, Beau spearheaded the team behind Gaston County’s first brewery, Ole Dallas Brewery, helping create a community gathering place centered around music, events, collaboration, and local entrepreneurship. His work as a musician and actor has further strengthened his passion for storytelling and connecting with people.
Beau brings those experiences to 100 Gardens, where he sees aquaponics as a powerful hands-on tool for teaching science, sustainability, responsibility, entrepreneurship, and the value of seeing an idea grow from seed to harvest. He is committed to inspiring the next generation to think creatively, work together, and grow something meaningful of their own.
Outside of his work, Beau enjoys life with his wife, Wendy, and their two children, Tripp and Addison.
